Perfectly cooked broccolini

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch of broccolini
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Method

  1. Boil a kettle of water to 100°C
  2. Cut the ends off the broccolini stalks
  3. Place the broccolini in a heat-safe bowl (ideally with a lid)
  4. Cover broccolini with boiled water for 5 minutes
  5. Drain the water and return to the bowl
  6. Top with olive oil (approx. 3 tbsp) and salt and pepper
  7. Put lid back on and shake until all broccolini are coated
