Chimichurri steak

Ingredients

  • Steak, seasoned with salt and pepper
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1 punch of flat leaf parsley
  • 3 tbsps olive oil
  • Salt
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes

Method

  1. Heat a pan to medium / high heat and grill the steak until cooked to desired level
  2. While the steak is cooking, crush the garlic and add to a small bowl with 1 tbsp red wine vinegar and the juice of half a lemon. Mix with a spoon
  3. Finely chop the parsley and add to bowl. Mix well
  4. Add 3 tbsp olive oil and mix
  5. Season to taste with salt and chilli flakes
  6. Once the steaks are done, serve topped with chimichurri and a side like salad or chips
